While on a recent sales call, my attention was taken off the meeting and focused on the wall behind the desk at the client’s network cabling, routers, and hub. It was quite the eyesore, but more importantly, there was a lot of stress being put on the network cabling and power supply cables.

This poor wiring installation can lead to the network running slowly or being completely down. We were not there to quote network cabling; however, I asked the client if it would be okay to supply a proposal to clean up the mess. It wasn’t a big job, but the client’s office is a much nicer place to work now. Not to mention his network is running smoothly.
